Today was the first National NHS, Social Care & Frontline Workers Day and staff and residents celebrated together by marking the occasion with a number of activities throughout the day.
Starting at 11am we held a 2 minutes silence, followed by The Last Post, to remember those we have lost throughout the last year and to remember those who have given their all to help others. Then at 1pm we raised a toast to the heroes of the NHS, Social Care and Frontline Workers.
The afternoon was spent making paper hats whilst having a lovely sing along and dancing to some of our favourite songs finishing off with an afternoon buffet and delicious homemade cake!
Staff were gifted with roses from the management and a Sweet Explosion box from a member of staff’s family
